- Spring: A child’s baseball/softball age is the age he/she is on April 30th of the current year.
- Fall: A child’s baseball/softball age is the age he/she is on April 30th of the next year.

*Players are responsible for having their own glove, and it is recommended to have a bat and cleats. Bats are optional and often shared. The League has a few used bats and gloves that are available at practices and games.
- 7U Baseball Teams (Spring Only): Children the age of 7 years-old will be invited to "Evaluation Day" to show their skills. Then all 7U Players (6 & 7 year-olds) will be drafted the week following the conclusion of skills day. Coaches will contact the players' families at least 72 hours (about 3 days) following the draft conclusion.
- 4U, 5U, 6U (Fall only), 8U, 10U, 12U & Softball Teams: Players will be placed on teams accordingly by league officials.

KNOX YOUTH SPORTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE DAYS/TIMES/LOCATIONS OF GAMES AT ANY TIME.
- Practices are held once a week for one hour. Coaches will determine the day, time, and field.
- Games are usually 1-2x per week and last approximately 1 hour, depending on the league:

- 4U – Saturdays in the Spring, and weeknights in the Fall.

- 5U – Saturdays in the Spring, and weeknights in the Fall.

- 6U (Fall Only) - Weeknights in the Fall.

- Games are not played on Sunday. Some teams practice on Sundays.
- Games on weeknights begin at 5:30 pm; and on Saturdays begin at 9 am.
Yes, in some of the leagues.
- Single elimination tournaments in 6U/7U, 8U, 10U, 12U and Softball.
- Games begin the week after the regular season ends.
Vance League 7U All Stars (Spring Only)
- All-Stars Selection: End of May
- Practices Begin the 2nd week of June
- Games: Scheduled from June 15th to June 22nd
- T-Ball use: Level 1 Soft compression-core
- All other leagues use: Leather
Softball uses an 11″ ball.
