A full refund will be granted prior to starting practice minus the transaction fee; 50% after practices start minus the transaction fee. ** A 4% transaction fee will be applied to all credit/debit card payments

  • The one-time registration fee ranging from $150-$250 depending on the program and league is all that is required for the entire season. Located on the upper right-hand corner of the Home page is the "green" Register link. This is where all the current open programs, specific leagues, and fees are located.
  • Games are free to all spectators.  
  • There is a picture day scheduled TBD. Parents or Grandparents decide what, if any, pictures they want to purchase.  

KYS offers leagues in the following sports for girls: Basketball, Lacrosse, and Softball. If you don't see a league for your daughter's specific age or grade, you can register her in the boys' league. We welcome girls in our Co-ed programs of Flag Football and Baseball and, in some cases, this may be the only option available.

During the registration process, you have the opportunity to request a coach and/or a teammate.  

Please note, that while KYS will try to accommodate these requests, it is not guaranteed that they will be honored 100% of the time.

Coaches can bring a team or request players.

  • The game schedule will be posted no later than a week before the start of the games.
  • Practice is scheduled by the coach, including the day, time, and location. The schedule will be communicated to the players/families shortly after the coaches' meeting. 
    • Practice is held once a week and lasts approximately one hour.
  • All games will be played as originally scheduled except for inclement weather with every attempt made to play as scheduled. 
  • Cancellations/rescheduling will be decided by the Program Director. 
  • Any decisions to cancel a game once it starts will be made by the Program Director as needed.

Yes, in all sports except Baseball 7U - Pee Wee/Vance League. This is a draft league.  

Coach To Do List:

  • All coaches are required to register as a coach and successfully complete the following:
    • Background Check
    • Submit headshot photo to Knox Parks & Rec for Coach ID Badge (complete for Winter & Spring sports only)
    • Coach Education (sign, date, and return forms)
      • Concussion
      • Sudden Cardiac Arrest

  • Each player will need to register individually and request you as their coach request. 
  • The coach will also provide KYS with a team roster.
  • Fall sports – July 
  • Winter sports – September  
  • Spring sports – January 
  • Spring: March 
  • Fall: August

Players will receive their uniform/jersey FROM THEIR COACH before their first game.
